Could it finally be Spring?

I am grateful for signs of spring. I've had my first whiffs of thawing earth, the sun is feeling warmer, and the seedlings are sprouting in the south facing windows. It is so encouraging to see those little green babies against their backdrop of bare trees and snow. More seeds will be planted today. We are also preparing to begin collecting sap from our Manitoba maple trees as soon as the thaw occurs.

 I am excited to have received interest from a number of volunteers for planting time in late May/early June. Thanks to those who have offered their time. It will make all the difference to have your support!
