The Canada geese are back in one or two pair flights, a few times a day. Watched a great grey owl hunting mice from our garden fence post, and beside the crows and ravens making an occasional racket, the sky is bearing more bald eagles and turkey vultures. Just waiting for the return of the call of the saw-whet owl at dusk.
The next day snow gobs gently falling, sometimes really thick. The last of the snow (can only hope)! Now for a bit of warmth to clear those annoying snow drifts, and see the garden again.
